The goal of the 2022 Pure Encapsulations product page refresh was to improve search engine optimization strategy by relocating or reducing elements. The existing SEO page had an HTML table containing supplement facts that were extremely detrimental to the search indexing process. The solution involved incorporating an image stack with this information, redesigning how users interact and call data by introducing an accordion, building in specific element states, and exploring different options for product lightboxes. The design involved creating user maps, rapid prototyping, meeting specific software requirements, gaining internal approvals, and always keeping our target audience in mind. Mobile designs were also created in tandem with desktop layouts. The new refresh was rolled out over 300+ product pages and launched in July 2022.
