The Carnegie’s 2017 blockbuster exhibition The Power of Poison was a challenge to brand for our audiences. In focus groups, families were initially drawn off from the original branding originating from the exhibition creator due to dark imagery and scary depictions. Using a cleaner, more child-friendly aesthetic helped to draw our core audience into the exhibition.
