We Are Nature: Living in the Anthropocene explored the interconnected relationship between humans and nature. A first of its kind in North America, this exhibition featured interactive exhibits, thought-provoking content, and interesting specimens from the museum’s own hidden collections. The visual identity needed to be inspiring, personal, and feature a broad, dynamic color palette based on varying landscapes around the world. This uplifting feeling guided visitors to take action and notice their own habits and how they impacted their local climate.
The accompanying sub-brand Nature360 reached out to youth in a digestible way that tied into the main exhibition’s theme. Youth in motion were featured on adverts for this program. Smaller-scale natural textures were adapted and applied to the many pieces of brand collateral.
