Finding Hope After Trauma

Trauma affects everyone differently, especially children. Working with real families in the community, the department created a quick resource guide to help those in the 12-20 age group try to understand traumatic events. Three different stories are covered from domestic violence to random acts of violence. Healthy coping mechanisms are introduced to the reader.
A loose illustration style was employed to appeal to the targeted demographic. Limited spot colors give a splash of vibrance to the piece while still maintaining clarity and upholding the seriousness of the content. Each individual story comes to a positive conclusion before leading to a list of helpful county resources.
